Dr. Akavan takes the whole face into consideration, not just the teeth. She believes a smile should look natural, like you were born to have it. This is what our practice is all about: Creating healthy smiles that bring confidence. Smiles that make lasting first impressions.


Orthodontist Nooshi Akavan, DDS established her practice in Tarzana, California in 1999 to serve both adults and children. She graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle in 1988. In 1994, she completed the orthodontic specialty program and received a masters of Science In Craniofacial Biology at the University of Southern California and has been in private practice of orthodontics ever since.

Orthodontic treatments provided by Dr. Akavan include braces treatment, Bloore removable aligners, Invisaling®, jaw surgery and retainers. Her offices are located in Tarzana, CA.
